Categorical representations of compact Lie groups

Abstract: 

Representations of compact Lie groups on complex vector spaces are well-understood and their classification dates back to the fundamental work of Cartan and Weyl. In this talk, I will discuss a categorified notion of group representations and provide an explicit example of how such a categorical representation can be constructed.
