Abstract
Following a brief survey on the recent advances in the problem of counting rational points near planar curves, we will take a particular interest in the case of the brownian motion. Recent results in collaboration with Evgenyi Zorin (York) and Volodymyr Pavlenkov (York) indeed enable us to solve a problem asked by Sprindzuk (1979)
