If you're interested in a career in trade, import/export, or international business, the Career Accelerator's two-week International Business project is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience while studying. During this two-week, online program created in collaboration with leading industry partners — and as part of a small group of like-minded students — you will respond to a brief from a genuine client, conduct market research, and make recommendations for sustainable impact initiatives within that client's company.

  • Gain practical experience in international business and enhance your skills
  • Work as a business consultant alongside a team of experts to undertake a research project for industry partners
  • Make your CV stand out and increase your competitiveness in the job market
  • Earn a badge that can be added to your Linkedin profile
  • BCom students can (The benefits listed below are conditional upon fully completing the project):
  1. Earn 24 Business Experience Points towards your Bachelor of Commerce degree at UNSW
  2. Accumulate 48 BCoins that can be redeemed for valuable rewards through the myBcom platform online shop

This program allowed me to work with a real company on a real-world problem. This provided an opportunity that regular university classes do not. Through this, I was able to improve my leadership, problem solving and communication skills which will undoubtedly assist me in the workplace.
