The Girls in Business Camp is designed for female students in years 10, 11 or 12 in 2021 who want to explore their future in business. The program is a collaboration between UNSW Business School and our industry partners to equip young women with the skills, desire and ambition to study and work in the disciplines of risk and actuarial, technology and information systems, and banking and finance.
This opportunity gives students the chance to network with other like-minded high school students from across New South Wales. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of these fields and learn from inspiring female role models, while also exploring what life as a UNSW Business School student could be like.
Our 2021 digital camp will be held on Tuesday 6th July and Wednesday 7th July 2021.
Who Can Attend?
It's strongly recommended that students be studying mathematics if interested in participating in this program.
Please note, if you attended the Girls in Business camp in 2019 or 2020, the format is very similar, so we encourage you to sign up to our newsletter for information on different upcoming events.
The program runs at no cost to the participant.
The camp will allow students to gain an in-depth understanding of the worlds of Technology and Information Systems, Risk and Actuarial Studies, and Banking and Finance, through:
- Interactive workshops delivered by UNSW Academic staff and Women in Business student ambassadors
- Real-world insights through an Alumni showcase and an Industry panel with Q&A
- UNSW Business School student fair and networking opportunity
- UNSW Business School program pathway and future student opportunities information session
Participants will also have the chance to network with other like-minded peers from across New South Wales in a fun and relaxed environment. Students are welcome to participate in as many of the digital sessions as they choose, but registrations are limited so early registration is encouraged.
