Abstract:

This talk will be about the existence of weak solutions (and  uniqueness in the case of strong solutions) to the stochastic Landau-Lifshitz equations on  multi (one)-dimensional spatial domains. It will also describe the corresponding Large Deviations Principle and its applications to the theory of ferromagnetic wires. The talk is based on a joint work with Ben Goldys and Terry Jegaraj.
