Abstract:

What is the best way to go about preparing new notes for a maths or stats course?  And all the other aspects of preparing for a new course? What is a good technology? How to manage time? All of us face these issues from time to time and particularly at the moment as we prepare for the new 10 week teaching sessions next year.

This seminar/workshop is intended to allow time for discussion of what different academics actually do - or want to do -  when they prepare for a course. Several people will present for 5 minutes about  how they approach this or about what they would like to do. Then the floor will be opened for discussion and suggestions.
