The Graduate certificate of Commercial Biotechnology is an online coursework program consisting of four core courses. These courses provide students with the essential business and technical capabilities required by industry employees to capitalise on commercialisation opportunities within the biotechnology sector.

 

How to structure your degree

Students in the Graduate certificate Commercial Biotechnology complete four courses. In 2020, these must be completed part-time over two years. From 2021, the program is also available full-time over two terms (less than one year).

This program is fully online.

Compulsory courses

Take these first:

  • BABS7010 Introduction to Biotechnology Commercialisation.
  • BABS7020 Biotechnology Commercialisation Strategy in Australia and Asia.

Then take these:

  • BABS7030 Foundations in Biotechnology Finance.
  • BABS7040 Negotiating Biotechnology in Asian Markets.
