SPRC researched the impact of spinal cord injury on people’s life experiences and identified gaps and barriers to achieving self-fulfilment. This research, for Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA), included key informant roundtables, in-depth interviews with 15 people with a spinal cord injury and a survey of SCIA members. SCIA used the research results to set strategic directions that enable each person with a spinal cord injury to choose from a range of life choices.
