This literature review examined current research and models of health service delivery for people with intellectual disability. It aimed to identify impacts, different outcomes and the user experience of health service delivery models in Australia and internationally, to inform policy makers, advocates and relevant service sectors on how to deliver improved health services for people with intellectual disability. The review focused on academic and grey literature published over the last three years and forms part of the Blueprint to better guide and support LHDs, Medicare Locals (PHNs) and community based health organisations by the Agency for Clinical Innovation.
