Abstract: 

Geoff Carroll is the 2015 Visiting Teaching Fellow in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW.
Geoff has been teaching high school mathematics since 2012, most recently at Sydney Grammar School.
He is a graduate of UNSW and prior to becoming a teacher, he was a Division Director at Macquarie Bank, responsible for a variety of commodity and environmental markets trading businesses in Sydney, London and Houston.
In this seminar, Geoff will present some insights into his year at UNSW and discuss the impact he expects it to have on his work in the classroom going forward.
