Kelly Hales

As the Faculty Executive Director, Kelly is responsible for overseeing the management of plans and processes to deliver operational services to the Business School to ensure it meets its academic, research, teaching and learning outcomes. Her role works closely with professional service teams across UNSW to ensure the Business School achieves its goals. 

Kelly has spent the majority of her career in the corporate sector in market leading FMCG companies including PepsiCo, Johnson & Johnson, and SunRice. She has had extensive senior management experience in roles spanning R&D, quality assurance and control, workplace health and safety, regulatory and compliance functions, and has supported teams across Australia and Asia.

She moved into the Higher Education sector in 2019 at UTS as the General Manager Technical Services in the Science Faculty, followed by Faculty General Manager in the Health Faculty. She has a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science (Materials Science) from UTS, and joined UNSW in 2022.
