About the Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics at UNSW
The UNSW Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is a credential from UNSW Business School, which is ranked within the top 50 worldwide. In less than a year, this certificate will further your career opportunities with foundational knowledge in data science, information technology and decision making.
As a graduate you’ll understand conceptual frameworks, modelling techniques, database management, and ethical debates to provide a holistic view of business analytics.
In a blend of online learning and face-to-face lessons, you can study around your work and life commitments. You’ll be able to advance your career in business analytics upon graduation or proceed to further study at a higher academic level.
You’ll develop your specialisation with four courses – two compulsory, and two electives. You’ll cover business analytics and analytic methods and then choose to tailor your knowledge to your interests and career goals.
There are ten electives to choose from, including data analysis, information technology infrastructure, social media and risk decision analytics. See the degree structure for more detailed information.
If you’re interested in further study, your courses are transferrable to the Master of Commerce (subject to meeting entry requirements) which offers SAS Certification as a Business Analyst.
