Redback Racing is a student-led formula student team that applies engineering theory to real-world automotive designs. The team competes at the annual Formula SAE-A Competition against other university Formula Student team around australasia.

RehabENG brings together students passionate about biomedical innovation and human-centered design. Members work on hands-on, impactful assistive technology projects while building a supportive professional network alongside industry experts and academics.

UNSW Rocketry is a student-led engineering project dedicated to designing and launching rockets. The team develops advanced aerospace components, such as experimental air brake systems and flight computers. Students gain hands-on technical experience as they build multi-stage rockets to compete in the Australian Universities Rocketry Competition (AURC) and the prestigious Spaceport America Cup (SAC).

rUNSWift is a robotics and AI research team dedicated to developing autonomous, soccer-playing robots. Students work on advanced software algorithms for Nao V6 humanoid robots, focusing entirely on the logic and "brains" of the machines. The team showcases their robotic systems by competing against other universities in the RoboCup Soccer Standard Platform League.

Skylabs is a student-led aerospace project that challenges members to engineer highly optimized, mission-specific aircraft. The team works on complex aerodynamics, structural design, and VTOL system development to meet rigorous changing technical requirements. Students showcase their rapid prototyping and flight designs internationally at the annual AIAA Design Build Fly Competition.
