Stephanie believes UNSW School of Chemical Engineering provides a supportive and positive environment for female students and she agrees wholeheartedly it’s essential to encourage women in engineering.

Jansen realised that Food Science and Technology was what he wanted to do because it combined two of the things he loves – food and chemistry! 

Jess had a tough time deciding between chemical engineering and industrial chemistry – but decided the latter was a better choice as there was a greater focus on chemistry and environmental subjects which suited her interests.

Rebecca initially chose the Food Science and Technology program because of the ‘impeccable reputation of UNSW and the School of Chemical Engineering’s strong links with the Australian food industry’.

Undertaking a chemical engineering degree at UNSW provided Tom with priceless skills and he looks forward to a stimulating and rewarding career.
